Uncertain Vessel - Kuantan, Malaysia
« on: January 08, 2014, 08:37:11 PM »
Hi all

In the foreground of this picture behind the building in the naval base can just be seen part of the superstructure and masts of a vessel that had the pennant 751. I took the picture on 10 April 2011 in Kuantan Malaysia and have not been able to ID the ship. Strangely she does not seem to have a funnel?

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Steve

Hi Juergen, thanks for replying, that's one of the vessels in the background. Im looking at the vessel in the foreground which is just visible above the building. I thought it was a us coastguard vessel but the masts are all wrong and im struggling with the penant which is not visible but which I saw as we left port. Its been driving me nuts for a while now.
