Aircraft carrier VIKRAMADITYA (R 33) and frigate TRIKAND (F 51), accompanied by DEEPAK (A 50) passed Dover Strait today en route Russia to India.  Next call reported to be Lisbon - then via Straits of Gibraltar and Suez where additional INS escorts will join.

INS TRIKAND was delivered to India in July this year.

Ah yes, thanks.  TRIKAND passed Dover NE lane 26/11 with DEEPAK, presumably for Severodvinsk.
