She only has a part cargo on board. Have a look at the attached picture taken last Friday.
I figure she may top up elsewhere alternatively sail for the FE with abt. 200.000 mt. on board.
The cargo was loaded by barges from Pernis storage depots and I guess that a few bunker suppliers were involved, notably Argos. The TI Europe is too big for Pernis, for which reason the barges were used.
Having said so, it is an unusual procedure to load entirely from barges. Most previous shipments combined cargo from seagoing tankers to be transshipped with material which was loaded from the Europoort terminals.
The cargo is heavy fuel oil probably with a relatively high sulphur content. This may not be used in Europe.

That dark grey paint does not look as if it is lasting well, considering it has only been on 8 weeks!

I bet she's heading straight for Falmouth to top up.
Let's wait and see.

More likely Brixham to drop off a Channel pilot.
Normal bunkering at Falmouth is to take on low sulphur fuel which is compulsory east of latitude 5 degrees W, so westbound traffic has no incentive to fuel up. They can use any old rubbish.

You're right. She's now well past Falmouth, west of Ushant.

Will it really take until October for her to make Singapore? Or is she stopping for a breather (like she did off Southwold), for a while? And surely it must cost a fortune with only part cargo!
Excuse my ignorance....I'm a hobby spotter....

She's going via the Cape of Good Hope, not the Suez Canal and probably at most economical speed as well. As far as economics are cconcerned, I'd leave that to owners and charterers. But it's no surprise, given today's dire market circumstances....

Robert.
