When Eugen Maersk entered service in 2008 she was one of the world's largest ships - a 15,500 TEU Maersk E-class, 398 metres overall. She's since been overtaken by the CMA-CGM Marco Polo class, carrying up to 16.020 TEU although slightly shorter at 295 metres, and by Maersk Lines own Tripe-E class Maersk Mc-Kinney M
