For some reason, (?), Funchal has been removed from the visiting list of cruise liners at Invergordon in September. Any body have any ideas?

Today fresh news!

http://mytakkes.blogspot.pt/2013/07/paquete-funchal.html

The ship is still in the works and their output yard can only happen on the 29th. The AIS signal was probably due to tests on electrical systems of the ship that are underway. Since the interior of the ship was completely rebuilt, electrical connections were all new and are only now being restored and finished. See the link to see the photos of my visit today to the ship. The ship don't will leave the shiyard in next days. You only can expect that only after 27th!

Best regards

Ricardo

Funchal returned today to Lisboa, and started his cruise to Azores islands. See the photos in the following link.

I see the Funchal is cruising the Eastern Med' at the moment, but I cannot find the 'cruise' being promoted/advertised/sold. Is she on a private charter, does any one know?

I'd suppose that it is time the new livery goes on  her indeed as she has sat there on the quayside for the past months covered in rust streaks

My mistake Lisboa and Porto are both out in the middle of the River Taugus anchored for dredging on their berths but I guess Lisboa will be sent to Naval Rocha Shipyard to complete her renovation.Time will tell

Lisboa (ex-Princess Danae) update

http://mytakkes.blogspot.pt/2013/10/lisboa-ex-princess-danae-in-navalrocha.html

The ship entered today in shipyard, it was marked yesterday, but yesterday the weather was very bad, and only today it was possible. The ship will start the hull inspections, only. Painting jobs or others aren't programed...
