Video: London Gateway progress hots up . .

Here's a Shipping TV update on activities at Britain's newest port, London Gateway, as completion looms closer - there are 2 major equipment deliveries due this coming week, Gateway say the best view is from the seawall near Cliffe . .

A load of straddle carriers is aboard Meri, IMO: 9622502 , just about to enter Keil canal as I post. If you shoot any reasonably steady video on this cargo underway, i'd love to have access to it.

PS: Help! If anyone is near the Keil Canal, MV Meri IMO: 9622502 should be passing through today on route to London Gateway with a cargo of Straddle Carriers. I'd love to have use (with credit, of course) of some stills or some non-shakey video as she passes through!

Thanks William - there's already 1 pic in the video, from a different angle, and I've asked the photographer of the one you mentioned if I can use that, too . . . But I'd really like 2 or 3 of her under way in the canal if anyone has some!

The second delivery being the ZHEN HUA 26 on the 28th, picking up pilot about 08.00 (latest info)

How do you get to the seawall near Cliffe?

According to the website below (zoom in on the specific area) you should be able to park in or near Cliffe, and there's a walk that takes you onto the seawall - hope it isn't too muddy!

I'll have to take a look for myself next time I'm visiting in Medway should be in the next few weeks - might be a good place to video from, if I can catch a few heading up or down river.
