Hanjin, two vessels delivered to Rio Tinto

Two bulk carriers have been delivered from Korean shipyard Hanjin to Rio Tinto, as reported by the Inquirer Business. Taek Yun Yoo, general manager of the Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction Co. Ltd-Philippines Inc. (HHIC-Philippines), referred to the Philippine newspaper that the vessels (299.9 meters long and valued $60 million each) are the two newly built RTM Dampier and RTM Zheng He, named after a British explorer and a Chinese navigator.
This year, HHIC-Philippines has already delivered to the London-based multinational company the M/V RTM Cartier, named after a French explorer, in August, and the M/V Cook, another bulk carrier, in May.
With these two new ships, HHIC-Philippines has delivered a total of 42 vessels to various international shipping companies since 2008.
