According to Reederei NSB, MSC Flaminia was moved further from the coast due to severe weather. Although the ship is listing and not all fires have been put out, I don't think she is taking water or is in any immediate danger of sinking, intentional or unintentional.

For now, it's difficult to say whether the ship is declared total loss or not. Obviously she has severe fire damage, but for example the engine room has not been damaged. It could be economical to repair the 2001-built ship, although the decision may be affected by the fact that there seems to be slight oversupply of container ships. Otherwise she will be scrapped, probably somewhere in Europe.
