I've just finished watching it Krispen. There are some wonderful scenes, despite the appalling weather. I wish I could have been there too !

Cheers
Phil

Great video Krispen, glad I wasn't the only "shipspotter" out there getting wet  :)

Thanks also for identifying the "JURASSIC SCENE", it was impossible to read her name through the rain  ;D

Regards

Bob

Hi Bob,  Thank you for the info.on your outfits = much appreciated.

I was there with my Panasonic FZ38 and was rather disappointed with the results in the poor light conditions.

The 3 Queens are in port at the same time this Friday (13.07.12) but the weather forercast looks to be the same as the 175 event and I dont know if I fancy trying to avoid the Farnborough airshow traffic.

Bob, Ken and Phil, thanks for your comments - to say I got wet was an understatement, but the group of us thoroughly enjoyed the day!

Thanks for watching - enjoyed putting it together, and looking back wished I'd filmed more of the day!

I was lucky enough to be aboard Oriana for the event. To say it was fabulous is an understatement, despite the weather, and the atmosphere was fantastic. My photos can be found here:  http://solentships.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/seven-white-sisters.html.
