Loch Ryan
« on: April 15, 2012, 03:59:01 PM »
Hi,

I may be visiting Ayrshire in the near future for work and, spare time & ferry timetables permitting, want to try and see the ship movements in Lock Ryan (Cairnryan) and was wondering if there are any decent photograph viewpoints. Also, does Stranraer still see any ship movements.

Regards

Bob

Thanks Bob, looks like another "poke & hope" trip adding a few extra miles to the clock :-\, had one of those last week on the Tees, the 2012 built, 175274 Dwt bulk carrier KLARA SELMER was in port, great view of her back end but little else (no photos of her on the site yet). I added quite a few miles to the clock in my search for a vantage point but had to admit defeat in the end  :(

Regards

Bob
