The Carnival Destiny will undergo a dramatic transformation during a USD 155 million refit in early 2013 when she will be renamed  Carinival Sunshine and operate Mediterranean cruises from April - October 2013 before making a transatlantic postioning cruise to New Orleans where she will home port.

She is not being moved or even used by Costa she will be operating as she is for Carnival Cruises and there are no forseable plans for any Carnival ships to call at Cork.
