Abandoned Cruise Ship Sold

A Russian cruise ship, left abandoned on the St. John's waterfront, has been sold and will soon be on its way out of the harbour. The Lyubov Orlova has begun to list and is taking up valuable dock space on the waterfront. The ship grabbed headlines last summer after its owners ran out of money and left the crew stranded in the capital city. St. John's city councillor Bruce Tilley says he is delighted the ship is sold, and is hopeful it will be gone before the tourist season begins.
