Webcam Costa Concordia
« on: January 17, 2012, 12:32:46 PM »
For those who are interested: one of the webcams on the website of Giglio News gives a panoramic of the port and the wreck of the Costa Concordia is in full view.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a AIS-site that covers that area, anybody else knows one?

Hi Bart,

Unfortunateley, the webcam link doesn't work..... perhaps servers are too busy.

It works
during the night of the accident i watched that webcam. At around 3 in the night looked like the ship had capsized. You could see helicopters lighting upp the vessel as they flew around.

I left the webcam and was not able to watch it again. must have been heavy traffic.

I could see some helicopters on ais.

It works now... I guess the servers were too busy this morning.

Thanks for the link Bart.

The Skipper surely wasn't making for this harbour entrance with a 114,000grt ship was he?
