Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any information on a little container ship, Geysir.
I think she is black. I'm not able to find anything on the internet on her, not even a picture.

Hello Dean,  The US. Dept of Transportation has her listed as belonging to Transatlantic Lines. LLC
She was built 1982, Speed 14 knots, Registered in USA.
141 container carriage.   Acronym: MGES
IMO 7710733
In 2004 she was travelling between Iceland and Norfolk, Virginia.

Some addition.  She was build as AMAZONIA at EQUITABLE SHIPYARDS 1980.  Renamed RAINBOW HOPE in 1984 and at that time she started sailings between USA and Iceland.  In 1999 she was sold to Transatlantic Lines Shipholdings USA (Atlantsskip Iceland) and renamed GEYSIR.
