Evening

Josephine Maersk damaged in collision near Tanjung Pelepas and will need repair after completing current discharge at Singapore. She will be substituted for her new voyage presumably by the JanDavid S. The July voyage by Dahlia on southern star has been cancelled with the northbound leg to be undertaken by terminating transtasman vessel Maersk Aberdeen and Pacific Island trader Amazon River repositioning back to Singapore.

Cheers

Brent

"Maersk Aberdeen" loads 4 July for Tanjung Pelepas and Singapore. "Amazon River" arrives Auckland 19 June from Papeete, and then loads Port Chalmers 8 July also for Tanjung Pelepas and Singapore. This will leave the "Maersk Radford" as the only vessel on the dedicated Trans Tasman run.

Swire Shipping have introduced the "MCP Famagusta" IMO 9371971 to the Trans Tasman trade. She will be calling at Nelson/Lyttelton/Tauranga and Marsden Point. Weather she is a permanent addition remains to be seen as only two voyages are listed at present.

"Cap Egmont" is the old "Cap Norte" IMO 9438377. I believe she will be renamed when she gets to Australia to commence voyage 855N.

Evening

Understand Algarrobo has signficant damage and requires at least another week of repairs. Her cargo has been discharged and will be forwarded by other vessels and would appear vessel to be off-hired. She will be replaced by Maersk Jurong on her next berth.

Dahlia's export voyage is taken over by former transtasman vessels repositioning back to Singapore - Maersk Radford loading Tauranga, Amazon River ex Lyttelton.

Cheers

Swire Shipping are adding additional tonnage to their Australia-NZ run. They will be calling at Tauranga and Wellington. They are then loading on the North Asia schedule to China and Japan.
The vessels are "Pine 1" IMO 9438377 (ex Comanche Maiden), "Pine 3" IMO 9438389 (ex Omaha Belle) and "Pine 6" IMO 9438365 (ex Montauk Maiden).

Between 1600 26 June and 0500 28 June, Ports of Auckland has 6 Car Carriers berthing.
They are:
Ruby Ace
Falstaff
Hoegh Trooper
Spring Wind
Trans Future 6
Definitely a berthing logistics nightmare. ???
