STX France wins 3rd Oasis-class vesselís order for Royal Caribbean

The third Oasis class cruiseship of Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. will be built by STX France.
The cruise line also announced that the agreement includes a one-year option for the mid-year 2018 delivery of a fourth Oasis-class vessel at similar pricing. The ship, whose delivery is scheduled for mid-2016, will be sister-ship of Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas. It will be 361 meters long and 66 wide, encompassing 225,282 gross registered tons; the vessel will span 16 decks, carrying 5,400 guests at double occupancy, and feature 2,700 staterooms.
Including this contract and existing ship orders, Royal Caribbean's projected capital expenditures for 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 are $1.3 billion, $700 million, $1.2 billion, $1.2 billion and $1.3 billion, respectively.
