A shot in the dark - Smit lloyd plans
« on: November 12, 2011, 02:06:02 AM »
Hi,
This may be a shot into the dark here, but i'm lost for ideas :(
Does anyone have plans (GA, line drawings etc) For the smit lloyd 100 class? Or know of a place where I could get my hands on a set? The reason I ask is that i'm trying to develop a freeware shipsim, and to do that you need vessels, And one of the vessels I'd like to have in there would be a smit-lloyd 100 class, because, lets face it, they're pretty nice to look at compared to the bricks of today (with the exception of the X-bows and the l'abbeille bourbon)
Thanks in advance,
dan

Have you contacted the national tugboat museum at Maassluis / Netherlands?

www.nationaalsleepvaartmuseum.nl/

Or the International Tugboat Enthusiast Society Lekko in the Netherlands?

www.lekko.org

Both are very much Smit-Lloyd-minded.........

Plans of the Smit Lloyd 101 can be purchased at NVM (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Modelbouwers) a society for model builders. Info at their website
