Hi Robert

Yep the AH 001 (short for Amerada Hess 001) is still here at the McNulty Yard since 2009.
They do not appear to be doing anything major on her at present other than routine mainternance.
McNulty currently is building wind turbine modules and structures.

We also have the smaller Furgo Seacore Jack up rig Excalibur at Swans yard and the new foundation bases are going down for the two new rigs to be built at the new OGN yard.

Also currently at the Swans yard we are scrapping redundant rig modules and structures.

The A&P yard is also busy building new module sections for the new aircraft carriers and also ship repair.

The Tyne at present is a busy river!

Hi Mike,

Many thanks for the additional information.
I noticed a few bits along the river but didn't have the time to look any further  :( I did see the new bulker OZGUR AKSOY but again no time to find a decent view point.

Hopefully up that way again soon doing nights so will have plenty of time to look about.

Regards

Bob
