ZIET OP-U ZELVE ALMERE-B
« on: April 09, 2011, 05:58:02 PM »
I saw a sailing vessel this week in Bristol with a name board saying ZIET OP-U ZELVE ALMERE-B, Can any of our Dutch spotters say if this is the name of the vessel?

Hi Robert,

Here you can find more about this ship.
Almere-B means the name of the homeport.

Many thanks Kees for the information. Not too sure if this is the same vessel, she looks a bit different and the name is spelt a bit different. Now that I know about her homeport I have updated the photo.

Great website though, helped me to find info on other Dutch sailing vessels  :)

Regards

Bob

Literally translated the name means: "look at thyself"....
