like Cpt. Bill said, regardless of whether or not it was his "official" watch, its his obligation to get his a$$ outta bed, grab a cup of coffee and a spanakopita, and help safely guide his vessel past the obstacle.

all he had to do was make sure he didnt hit the only island out there.
