The search for three missing fishermen from a capsized Zealand trawler on the northern French coast has yielded nothing. The search with boats, a helicopter and divers Wednesday stopped. Reported by the Coast Guard center in Den Helder.
The vessel of the Zealanders, shrimp cutter Newport 28, capesized on Tuesday evening. That happened about 25 km of the coast of Dunkirk. Divers entered the wreck of the trawler and searched the vessel but not the engine room . There was nobody found.
The missing come from Arnemuiden and Oost-Souburg. They are two brothers and a cousin from the same family. Searching, according to the Coast Guard is no longer evident given the elapsed time and temperature of the seawater.
