The Barge is now docked in Pictou according to the CTV news tonight, they're going to make an underwater survey and place it in dry dock to either fix it or scrap it.

There were about 3500 cords of pulpwood on the barge when it went aground. All but about 700 cords was washed off. Pulpwood litters the beaches for about 20 miles of Northumberland Strait shore and many are still afloat, partly submerged.
With winter coming, it will be a hard job to retrieve the pulp from the beaches before ice starts interfering with the work. However the government has ordered the owners of the wood to pick it up, and has permitted them to take trucks and excavators onto the beaches.
They are sending small boats out to retrieve floating wood, but it is hard to find, since only about one foot of deadhead might be showing.
A real mess to clean up.
I also hear that the barge is in very bad shape. Preliminary reports are that it will be a constructive total loss.

That's a big job getting all that wood out of the Strait.
That is too bad that the barge is a total loss.
