The  YM URANUS is arrived during the last night in the neighborhood of midnight to Brest towed by the Abeille Bourbon.
She is now moored in the naval base.
You can see her on one of webcams of this site: http://www.brest.maville.com/meteo/webcam.php

No, of course !
The first one who posted on this thread of discussion was a little bit fast!
And everybody believed it...
You know well that you should not believe all that we read on Web.

When newspapers and some respected news websites mention YM Uranus being sunk, well that is news for Shipspotting.com.
It is more easy to wait and see untill photos and pictures are all over the www.
But when is news called news? The topic has well over a 1.000 hits and a lot of links to articles and photos. I think this growing topic was news for a lot of people
I started & followed this thread with great interest, despite of not being correct at that (first) moment, allthough what is the defenition of being sunk? She does not look to be in a comfortable postion.

Thanks for responding, the links the & news updates.

best rgds
Stan

Last infos about YM URANUS :

The most important damages are situated on port, in front of the castle.
A breach of 8 m on 5 m was noticed by the divers who have, besides verified the integrity of holds, effectively protected by the double hull).
The YM URANUS, although having a gite strong is safe. No leak was noticed.
The STOLT TEAL is presently heading to Brest where she has to load the cargo of the YM URANUS. She should arrive tomorrow morning.

Hi Stan,
I agree with you. I myself have access to several news agencies. When I am at the office behind my desk I'll be able to upload in a real short time. I have no time to check the facts, I have a busy job. Knowing we are here with a large group of enthousiast spotters with a lot of knowledge and enough members that have time to check all the facts. So next time instead of correcting people, just add your facts.
Here one more fact: the damage to Hanjin Rizhao

Hi Wim,

Because this is a site with members all arround the world, just keep this discussion in English, will you?

Seems you are jealous about spotters on the Nieuwe Waterweg. According your statements (which is allowed) all spotters at the Nieuwe Waterweg are the same and know nothing about the business.

Bullshit! Use your mind when you are posting something on this forum, but unfortunately you didn't so far...

Most of the members try to post something usefull and because we all are human beings, faults or mistakes can be made. Just try to accept it and / or add additional information. Thank you!

I can say I know something about the maritime industries, because I am working in it and according my papers I am a naval architect. And yes, you can find me often at the Nieuwe Waterweg...

Kind regards,

Klaas-Jan
