i just posted it on trip forum. I know realized you just have been to Mumbai, so maybe you know something about Alang? If so please contact me at [email protected], i dont see your email on forum...

Dear all shipspotters
Im independent artist, journalist, writer from Poland. With a photographer (Michal Szlaga) who is since many years documenting biggest shipyard in Gdansk we are going to Alang India. We are preparing exhibition about alang to be shown in Gdansk shipyard. To make it short our idea is to show people who destroy ships to workers who build them. I know that some of you know Alang so im looking for advice: how to make photos on the beach there? With all the permissions problems and so on?
Thanks in advance
Max Cegielski

ps. few years ago one of you from shipspotting.com helped me a lot with realizing which ships from Gdansk were beached in Alang. Unfortunetly i lost email of this person on my old computer, so i want to say here - this project its continuation of informations you gave me. Thank You!
