whereabouts of Matson liners Mariposa and Monterey from 50s/60s

Hi could anyone tell me what happened to the Matson luxury liners Monterey and Mariposa which used to ply the Pacific between San Francisco and Sydney fortnightly during the 1950s and 60s

Monterey (2nd) laid up 1946-1957
relaunched as Matsonia 1957
renamed Lurline 1963
other renamings, sunk 2000 as Belofin

There were two Mariposa  - first built in 1931 became th4e Homeric in 1953, scrapped 1974

The second was originally the Pine Tree Mariner reb built as the Mariposa in 1956
scrapped 1995 after layup and some name changings
