Hi Goeff,
I used to send data to this site , but the problem was the way it was done .They sent me a small program which took a screen grab of the shiplotter page and then sent the data to this site .If I was typing some thing and this program took the grab , my cursor would vanish from the page I was typing on , this was realy not a good system , so unless the way of collecting data has changed to a different way I would think carefully.I know BruceS in Aberdeen stopped sharing his data for the same reason.

Brian

PS I am still waiting to find out how much the new owners paid for this site !!!

Hi Brian

All power to your elbow, you did at least try and up-feed AIS data to the site but the then owners were obviously concentrating on something else at the time!

I would imagine that given the commercial side to the new owners they will want folk to buy their hardware/software to receive AIS rather than giving it away free on this site - however stranger things have happened  :-)  - Perhaps the new owners would like to comment on any proposals to incorporate a FREE Ais stream to the site?

On your final point I reckon you are in for a long, long wait.................

Regards
