I heard that a Svitzer vessel is coming over from the US.
Svitzer Marken replaced the Waker last year for a short period.
Another rumour: Itc Blizzard, which is actually a better candidate.

Cheers Fred

Saturday 31th October 2009 the Waker was towed from Den Helder to Rotterdam and further inland to the scrapyard.
For the time being she is to be replaced by Svitzer Marken but that is in fact a large harbour tug and not a salvage tug.
The big Rotterdam, London and Singapore are not available at the moment or near future, a good replacement for the Waker is however urgent to fullfill the contract.
