Longer than three and a half football pitches and boasting an ice rink and rock climbing wall, the world's biggest cruise liner has floated for the first time.

The 160,000-tonne Independence of the Seas, which left its Finnish shipyard in readiness for a final fit-out, will be based in Southampton when it enters service next May.

Hi,

thanks for the link Steve!
I hope that this vessel, serving mostly on European routes (or so it was rumoured), will come to Zeebrugge once.
We don't see RCCL vessels here a lot but as one of the biggest vessels in the world she is certainly worth seeing
