Her sister plyed the waters between Orkney and Shetland as the ROF Beaver.

During the construction of the Sullom Voe oil terminal she was extensively used to ship heavy plant to the isles from Leith for work on the site. She proved to be a great little workhorse.

Last i knew of her she was under arrest in Italy as the Albatros. I don't know her fate but it would not surprise me if the scrapyard was her final destination.

"It's always a pity the lost of an old glory.
All those old vessels were and are so very beautiful
and every time one sinks or broke up, I feel so sorry"

Well at least breaking up is recycling...sinking is just a waste.
