Mv Celtic Pride bow damage?
« on: April 25, 2007, 05:44:17 PM »
Regarding the recent photo of the Celtic Pride was wondering if anyone had an info regarding her damage. Looks like she may have hit the quay?

Regards

Charles

Hi Charles,
I took this photo this morning at Teignmouth and to be honest, until you pointed it out, I hadn't noticed the damage! Senility, I guess or perhaps the need for stronger glasses?
I will try and find out whether the damage occurred in Teignmouth (She sailed this afternoon), but as she arrived in the dark, maybe no one will admit anything!
Regards
John :-?

Yes, it could well be the dark! I had photographed her in plymouth not that long ago and she had no damage then. Clearly it has not lead to leaks in the bow section as she had sailed for Fowey.

Regarding the Celtic Pride, if you interested John check out my plymouth based web page. The celtic pride is on there! I also got the Celtic Fortune after you photographed her!
