Went over to Southampton this afternoon as planned, via the East Cowes vehicle ferry and got some super shots. I must have hit a purple patch as ships were everywhere and there was a bit of stuff on the move. :-D

The ship may have looked the business but the champagne bottle wasn't!
Oh dear, it wouldn't break!
And the two bimbos doing the naming were sharing a brain; when asked if they had been on a cruise ship, one of them said "no" while the other said "Yes, we went to France".
Whereupon her sister replied "That was a P & O ferry darling"!

Seriously, though, I saw that report on South Today and thought 'oh dear' both for the bottle and the two women. :-o

Personally I think the paint scheme on the Ocean Village ships is hideous. But at least it's different, though, I suppose.
