Moby Ryder
« on: January 22, 2007, 01:00:44 PM »
Good Day,

Just wondering if anyone has any information on the Moby Ryder. This is a former Marine Atlantic ferry, the Frederick Carter. The last I heard she was up for sale.

Thank-you very much
Dean

Last I heard she was for sale. I do know that she has been removed from the Moby Lines website.

Dean,
The ex-MOBY RYDER is now (?) called MOBY RIDER.
Last summer she navigated between Sardine and the European continent (Italy).

Now (jan/07) one can buy her for about 6 Million USD which is almost 4.6 Million

Hi Jorn,

Thanks again for this information. The former Frederick Carter was one of the ships my father had worked on.

Thanks Again
Best Regards

According to my sources, the Moby Ryder is tied up in Genoa and looks like she'll be heading to the breakers.Sorry.
