Just a suggestion.
If she had not ballasted down far enough, the rig would have fouled her as it was towed off causing her to 'list'. Are those ventilator towers on her stern? If they are, it would not have taken much of a heel to allow a sudden ingress of water and flooding of the bilge which could rapidly bring her to an even keel and cause her to sink by the stern

The structures on the stern of the Mighty Servant 3 are buoyancy casings that don't have any through deck connections.

I've seen fotage taken by ppl at the scene during her last moments. Those pictures are not public...at least not yet, so I can not post them for you to see.
However, she did go down with the aft first.

Mighty Servant 3 has now been raised and arrived in Cape Town 17.06.07 for examination and drydocking prior to complete refit.
As one door closes another one shuts, it must be the wind.

She's already out of Dry Dock and awaiting a decision on her future. See my Pictures of her arrival in Cape Town as wella s a few of her in DD.
