Satoshi concept fails

It looks as if Satoshi could be scrapped alongside her sister..
The blog post on the owners website is below, with a word of warning that some people may be a bit shocked by the tone of the blog wording as it blames everyone but themselves.

Well, it looks like Satoshi will join her sister ship Karnika at Alang, India. It's sad that she won't be saved, but I was always suspicious about the concept for her.

I just realized that the scrapping of Karnika and Satoshi will mark the first time that a former purpose-built Princess Cruises vessel has been scrapped. Sad, but notable.

She was a very short lived venture (as the MS Satoshi, anyway)...

I was on her last cruise as Regal Princess when we sailed from Los Angeles to Sydney in 2007.

Satoshi is approaching the Panama Canal. After she sails thru it, she will continue to Alang.

Update, she hasn't sailed thru the canal yet. I'm not sure if the vessel needs approval or is waiting for other vessels, but she is in the same place as last week.
