Brent and Astoria made an attempt to enter Falmouth today, with help from local tugs, but abandoned and Brent now showing as heading back out into Channel. Pic posted on main website.  :-\ ???

BRENT (presumably still with ASTORIA), continues in the Channel on heading due east at a respectable 8kn and now S of Swanage; destination "TBA".  All very strange.

[later] TBA now changed to Flushing/Vlissingen - ETA seven hours ago.

Maybe while in Rotterdam (if she does indeed get there) it would make sense to repair ASTORIA so that the can sail under her own power. Has anyone seen a reliable, non-speculative report as to why she had to be towed in the first place? The only report I have seen is that the engines were "knackered". That's a bit too technical for me!(LOL)

Was there any indication before the first lockdown that Astoria's engines were 'knackered'? I'd not heard anything to that effect.

Hi,

Can anybody confirm where ASTORIA is?

Tugs Brent and GINGER are at Rotterdam Anchorage. Are they still assisting her?

Rgds
