Well, there goes the last R-Class vessel sailing for Princess Cruises. It's currently unknown who bought her, but I hope that it was Azamara Club Cruises that bought her. But then again, maybe she could also join her former fleetmates on the beaches of Alang, India or Aliaga, Turkey.

PP seems to be still earning - sailed Civitavecchia yesterday.  Apparently on the short Tyrrhenian Sea voyages for domestic Italian market, along with Costa, MSC etc. PP, COSTA FIRENZE and four others already in the Golfo di Orosei, E Sardinia this evening, it seems, with COSTA FAVOLOSA, CARNIVAL MAGIC and MSC DIVINA on the way.

Looks like Arctic's scrapping is also progressing well as the vessel's ice-strengthened bow is already gone.

AIDAcara's the first purpose-built vessel of AIDA Cruises, but she is 25 years old. I just hope that she wasn't bought by Alang or Aliaga.

Carnival Cruise Line is getting one of AIDA Cruises vessels and the Costa Magica. Maybe that AIDA vessel is the AIDAcara, but only time will tell. https://www.cruiseindustrynews.com/cruise-news/25297-carnival-cruise-line-to-get-two-more-ships-by-2023.html

I don't understand why Carnival is transferring the Costa Magica to the Carnival Cruise Line fleet. She's 20 years old. Why not sell her off or transfer her to P&O Cruises Australia?
