So she's going to be an accommodation ship. Hardly been saved for cruising?

Still, at least that's something.

Usually means the condition of the ship deteriorates very rapidly and she still heads to the breakers after only a few years.

The Century Harmony (ex. Carnival Fascination) is still laid up in Gibraltar. Despite being in Warm Layup, she looks a bit bad. They haven't maintenance her exterior since July. Here's a link.

Honestly, I suspect that she will never sail again. It looks like they'll let the vessel be laid up until it is at a point that it would be economically unviable to refurbish and then sell her for scrap. We just have to wait and see.

Well, the number of vessels Carnival Corporation and PLC is selling or disposal is increasing from 15 to 19. That means four more vessels will be sold off. I suspect it's the remaining 4 Fantasy class vessels as the other 4 have been sold for scrap. Combine with the fact they're the oldest vessels in the Carnival fleet, I wouldn't be surprised if that was confirmed. I have just heard that Princess Cruises has sold Pacific Princess, just as we were speculating a day or so ago. However, that is all that I know. No idea who has bought her or any details yet.
