they may get rid of these aged vessels and but three of the Carnival ships that are rumoured to be being sold

Royal Caribbean has announced in the meantime that itself and its partner in Pullmantur have had to apply for insolvency/"reorganization" of Pullmantur:

Also reports that SOVEREIGN and MONARCH, which are both in Napoli currently, are both being stripped of anything useful/valuable. The end is nigh for these beauties, I fear...
