Azamara Journey that started her cruise in Auckland is in Dundin today. Rather than continuing to Sydney she is coming straight back to Auckland and disembarking passengers.
The Bremen is laying over at Princes Wharf for a few days.

There are four cruise ships in Auckland today, three have no passengers. Azamara Journey at Queens is disembarking all her guests that originally got on in Auckland, so no quarantine problems. The overseas guests will be bused to the airport for flights. Noordam is refuelling at Princes then out to anchor tonight. Bremen laid up at Princes until 21st then moves Wynyard for fuel and then to Queens until 25th and Silver Muse at anchor. Silver Muse comes back in tonight and sails on Sunday 22nd. The Le la Perouse is due at anchor tomorrow and will berth for fuel and supplies 23rd and sail 24th.

OOCL has announced on their website that they are enhancing the China New Zealand Service, with the fastest transit times for shipments to Wellington from NE Asia. They say the Wellington call will replace Port Chalmers in order to match changes in market demand in the New Zealand trade.  I'm curious what those market changes could be.

The changes will be effective with APL Denver's arrival in Shanghai in mid May.

Due to Covid-19 there are many changes on the Pacific Islands service:
Capitaine Wallis is replacing Southern Pearl on Suva to Wallis and Futuna.
Southern Pearl is replacing Southern Trader on Auckland to Tahiti.
Southern Trader is replacing Southern Lily on Auckland to Pacific Islands.
I presume Southern Lily will go back to her owners.

Capitaine Dampier will now call Tauranga-Auckland-Fiji-Vila-Santo.
Capitaine Tasman will now call Tauranga-Auckland-Noumea-Fiji.
