Isle of Grain gas tankers
« on: December 29, 2018, 03:13:19 PM »
Hi,

Anyone know if there is a website (that you don't have to sign in to) that shows the arrivals of the gas tankers at the Isle of Grain?
Isle of Grain is on the River Medway in Kent, UK.

Regards

Bob

As far as I know, unless you know someone who works there and is 'in the know', the only way I know is to watch for them coming on AIS.

Thanks Bob, I thought as much :-(
Once they commit to the movement on AIS its normally to late to get down to see them. Maybe if I check at the right time on the Harwich Haven pilot website they might show in the forecast or transits, vessels for London appear regularly.

Hi,
KINISIS has been anchored in Tongue Anchorage (Thames Estuary) since 10th Jan and still to berth at Grain LNG.
Ice LNG EDUARD TOLL is currently on it's way from Sabetta (RU) to Grain LNG with ETA 04.30 hrs on 19th Jan.

I have subscribed to Marine Traffic so I get notifications when a ship changes its destination on AIS. Its very useful Bob, worth considering and to purchase 100 credits costs only
