Tallink aquires Silja Line

Estonian ferry operator Tallink has aquired Finland based ferry operator Silja Line, owned by Sea Containers, Bermudas.

That's interesting, never knew that Sea Containers owned Silja Line. It could explain why the SILJA OPERA is laid up in Tilbury Dock along with a couple of Sea Containers cat's.

FINNJET and SILJA OPERA are for sale, all other vessels remain in service under their present brand - time being.

But Superseacat 4 and Superseacat 3 will be owned Seacontainers and not by Tallink!!! :-)
