I notice that the German tug BUGSIER 10 is moored on the Svitzer berth at Denton today, I wonder if she will be working on the Thames?

Rumours has it the tug has come for the drill rig SERTAO on Tilbury power station

My source is normally pretty good but must admit that was my first thought when she moored on the Svitzer berth.

All good news, more chance to see the Bugsier and wait to see what will take the Sertao away.

As an aside, I see the old Thames ship handling tug SUN XXIV, now kINGSTON (IMO 5344437) is also due on the Thames on the 15th as well.

It was on schedule when I left home at midday, arrived at Coalhouse Fort half hour later to find it had been put back !!
We will see what happens tomorrow.

Hah! Yes, I was down at Mucking and kept checking the departures list. Realised about 4.00 p.m. that the date (but not time) had changed from 24th to 25th! I'll be locked up in the office tomorrow unfortunately so no good for me  :(
