She had "ETA Tilbury 27/10/18 @ 13:00" showing on her AIS on Marinetraffic when she left Gdansk before it changed to Kiel.

Ben Woollacott has been berthed at Kiel since Monday afternoon, with no further destination showing. I am sceptical that the new ferries have the necessary certificates and crew accommodation to cross the North Sea under their own power. However - I could still be proved wrong.

Someone has just suggested to me that she might have stopped at Kiel for a check up at the nearby Voith Schneider facility!

I assume from that she has a Voith Schneider propulsion system?

According to the media, the stop is caused by the bad weather. Here is a German report on the ferry: http://www.kn-online.de/Lokales/Nord-Ostsee-Kanal/Die-ersten-drei-neuen-Faehren-fuer-den-Nord-Ostsee-Kanal-vor-Auftragsvergabe

DAME VERA LYNN has been on sea trials, so presumably not far behind.

Interesting that they have been registered Funafuti under Tuvalu flag by delivery contractors International Maritime Services Pty Ltd, Fremantle WA:
BEN WOOLLACOTT (ON 35781818, c/s T2HR5) / DAME VERA LYNN (ON 35791818, c/s T2HT5)

After delivery to TFL/Briggs Marine they will be:
BEN WOOLLACOTT (c/s MDTW8, MMSI 232017796) / DAME VERA LYNN (c/s MDTW9, MMSI 232017797)

DAME VERA LYNN just leaving Gdynia - ETA Kiel 2/11.
Suspect delivery contractors using one crew for both ships, and using Rendsburg as a safe staging point.

Anyone know for sure where the scrapyard is at le Havre?
I have an idea that it might be in the Tancarville Canal here (there's a public road opposite):

But I think that the ferries may have been parked in the "Garage de Graville":
