Re: When will this site be SECURE?
« Reply #165 on: August 18, 2018, 12:28:09 AM »
I can add nothing at present to my last update of 8 August
http://forum.shipspotting.com/index.php/topic,16204.msg86294.html#msg86294
If I can get any further info on a timescale for this to be resolved, I will post it here, if Henrik does not do so himself.

(I'm merging these last messages into that thread to keep it together)

Thanks Dirk
I've haven't heard of any new problem, but I am forwarding this to Henrik.
Which program/app/browser are you using?

Other members please advise, but only if it is NEW.

When I clear my computer memory, and cache, at the end of each month and have to log on again to ShipSpotting I always get 'this site is not secure'. As a matter of interest it always happens on a certain trawler site, too!

I'm not getting any messages at all, using Windows 10, and Microsoft Edge. I suspect the problem lies with the interaction between the site, and individual security set up's on personal PC's etc, rather than specifically with the site, and I'm nit sure that it can be cured by one fix to the site.

I had a problem using Firefox, but now using "Opera" and no messages. Using Total AV or Windows defender I get no unsafe site message.Firefox is way to slow for me and fails frequently when I try to use it to upload to the site.
