Seabourn Cruises

There is a very strong rumour that Carnival (owners of Seabourn Cruises) are looking to part with the three cruise ships in Seabourn. Whether they will replace them is debateable. Seabourn could well go the same way as Swan Hellenic. :-(
regards Glencairn :-) :pint:

There have been rumors of a possible sale of Seabourn (this time) since at least last summer.  The 208 passenger, all-inclusive ticket (so no huge bar tabs)Seabourn ships cannot generate nearly the profits per hull/year that Carnival requires.  Seabourn regulars have noted that Seabourn's best customer service reps have been transferred, and that Seabourn was left out of Carnival's recent corporate-wide computer integration.  A sale might be a good thing for Seabourn, perhaps?
Best,

Charles
