Old camera card
« on: February 14, 2018, 05:57:30 PM »
Hi All,

I've been clearing out/throwing away all my old photo's but came across my very first but old digital camera I bought in 2001. It's a Fujifilm Finepix 1300. It used a Smartmedia card, still in the camera too, but how do I go about looking at what's on the card ? It's large & incredibly flimsy.
I'm sure I have some old ship photo's on it but can't find any equipment that is compatible.

Regards,

Before you go out and buy a card reader cant you view whats on the card by viewing the photos via the camera ?

I used to use a "PCMCIA SmartMedia adapter" for reading my SmartMedia card, still got it in my desk draw but have just realised I need a computer as old as the card to slot it into  ???
