Ultra light crude as mentioned in the press clipping in the first post is actually condensate, which would explain the fierce fire.

Adrian the BBC was less far off the mark than you may think. It is a Suez-Max tanker, also known as 1,000,000 barrel tankers...

None of the crew of CF CRYSTAL were injured, and the ship subsequently proceeded to Zhoushan port.

I guess the poor souls on board died from the smoke (but we don't know anything for sure right now of course).
