Seems to the same pipeline that has being struggled with for several weeks ago after MTS VISCOUNT was in collision with container SAMSKIP COURIER on 19/7 aboutt 0100UTC while towing floating pipe on a "1100m wire" [perhaps the total tow length?], Rotterdam for Arzew.  The tug was in the SW lane about 30m ENE of North Foreland, making 3-4 knots, SAMSKIP COURIER on regular run Tilbury-Rotterdam crossing the lane (at 90° of course).  It is not difficult to imagine what might have happened.

MTS was not heavily damaged but released tow.  MTS TAKTOW sailed immediately from Great Yarmouth.  MTS VECTOR released from work off Selsey Bill, and sailed 20/7 via Southampton, arriving on scene late on 21/7.

All three tugs remained together with the tow, a little NW of the traffic lane and on 24/7 MTS VISCOUNT and MTS TAKTOW were heading to Brevik/Stathelle at 3½kn, presumably with the floating pipe (damaged?).  But it looks as if they didn't get further than the Norfolk coast as MTS VISCOUNT was making big circles on 29/7 - and still is, with MTS TAKTOW still assisting. SEA BRAVO has been on the scene also since about 1/8

That would be good Tomas - if it ever gets as far as you (I have my doubts)!

At 3kn there'll be plenty of notice.
