Still on the Marine Traffic theme - does anyone know of a setting that will delete (or grey out) vessels from my display after a set time ? It is annoying to see a ship and then look at it's reported details and find that it was in that position many hours ago !.
I also run Shipplotter and you can delete ships after any interval you choose and thus get a current picture .
(I did ask Marine Traffic but never had a reply )

Many thanks

Tim Farrow.

As to Marine traffic, sometimes that happens here in Malta also, but worst of all is when I check Marine traffic in the morning and find a large  tanker or vehicle carrier berthed in an impossible corner of the harbour such as the yacht marina .
Also some vessels keep on appearing hours after they have departed the spot indicated as our friend has commented upon.
Marine traffic is not Gospel, sometimes it must be taken with a pinch of salt. Nothing is infallible.
thanks and regards
