The other escort either USS PHILIPPINE SEA (CG-58) or USS DONALD COOK (DDG-75).  Both reported as accompanying (along with HNoMS HELGE INGSTAD) but one presumably staying offshore.

Apparently when they leave they will carry out exercises with HMS IRON DUKE, HMS WESTMINSTER, RFA WAVE RULER plus one HM submarine

Portsmouth QHM only gave one as coming into Portsmouth, no mention of second at anchorage

Sorry Allan - by "offshore" I meant away from the coast - out in the Channel somewhere.
I can see QHM's list just has Foreign Warship 1 & 2.

Or perhaps one is making a visit elsewhere?
